Child Loss & Grieving Processes
The loss of a child is one of life’s most difficult experiences. It deeply affects parents and families – often in very different ways. Pain, speechlessness, and feelings of guilt are common companions, while the world seemingly stands still.
Counseling provides a safe space, in which:
- diverse grieving paths are respected
- individual emotions are given space
- emotional closeness can be strengthened
- and the shared journey through loss is supported
Grieving Together: Not everyone grieves the same way – and that is often the challenge for relationships. While one person might seek withdrawal, the other needs exchange or shared rituals. We foster understanding for these differences and build bridges between emotional worlds.
Goals of the Support:
- Understand and embrace grief
- Overcome speechlessness
- Address feelings of guilt
- Facilitate remembrance and acceptance
- Strengthen relationships in crisis
- Develop paths to continue living with the loss
Grief is not a linear process – it comes in waves, in silence, and sometimes quite unexpectedly. With loving support, I help ensure you don’t have to walk this path alone. Whether as a couple or an individual: You are allowed to show yourself as you are – and thus find your very own way of processing.
